Ugh… what a day.
This year’s Oscars nominations aren’t TOO bad, but come on… no best animated film nom for The Adventures of Tintin and absolutely zero recognition for Drive? Something’s seriously wrong with that.
Watched THE AMERICAN the other night. It was a pretty old movie accompanied by a great George Clooney performance (as usual). My favourite part of the whole movie: the opening credits. They were simple, yet cool. They also had one of the best film scores I’ve heard in a LONG time!
As visually stunning as LIMBO is, holy SHIT is it a frustrating game!

Anyone else hoping that Namco includes a new installment of Tekken Bowl Tournament with their upcoming Tekken Tag Tournament 2? I just bought Tekken Hybrid and I completely forgot how insanely fun Tekken Bowl was. I could literally play it all day!

Oh, and just to clarify how bad Homefront is, I quit it on the very last chapter. Why? Because it froze on me three times in a row after defeating a complete onslaught of evil Koreans. Yep… games don’t get much more broken than this.
Funny how I went right from playing one of the best First-Person Shooters of all time (RAGE) to playing one of the worst ones ever (Homefront). Seriously, if you want to play a FPS with mediocre graphics, clunky gameplay and that freezes on you at least twice every chapter, go buy Homefront. You won’t regret your decision.
I guess I’ll go ahead and say Happy New Year. Resolutions this year consist of big changes: further myself as a writer by actually becoming more educated; move away, whether it be just done the street or thousands of kilometers away; lose some of this repulsive gut that I’ve grown over the last year; to hopefully slow down the growth of these grey hairs that I’ve been gaining...
My PS3 is dead… again. I miss the PS2 days when Sony actually manufactured a quality product.
