Finally started the campaign for Homefront over the holiday season. I’ve gone through two out of the seven missions and so far I’d say that this is an ambitious game with a very original story that’s bogged down by the generic graphics and boring gameplay. Hopefully my view changes somewhere within the next five missions.
Just saw the mid-season finale for season 7 of Supernatural. How has this show fallen so hard? Eric Kripke really needs to return as showrunner. There’s been a couple good episodes this season, but the new baddies and the season casualties have completely turned me off.
Completed RAGE yesterday. While I stand by my statement that it’s probably my favourite FPS since Red Faction on the PS1, DAMN that was one weak ending. Seriously, id? You couldn’t give the game more of a conclusion? I want to know more about Dan Haggar. What about the Subway Town? Weak… very, very weak. Then again, if you’d like to make some epilogue DLC, I’d definitely be interested.
Lots of new movies coming out. I have to say, I’m looking forward to Tintin and M:I-GP a lot more than the new Sherlock Holmes. I’m intrigued to watch The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, too, if just to see if it can actually top the greatness of the original Swedish film.
Let’s get back to Supernatural for a moment. The more I think about it, the producers made a mistake by continuing past the end of Season 5. Eric Kripke should’ve stuck to his original plan because as much as I enjoy seeing Sam & Dean Winchester on TV, the show’s definitely getting that feeling of overstaying it’s welcome. The finale to Season 5 was the PERFECT way to conclude the series. Here’s hoping the show gets its mojo back soon.
Three episodes into the seventh season of Supernatural and I can already tell that this is gonna be the weakest season yet. It’s sad considering this was one of my favourite shows at one time. Jared and Jensen rock, too, which makes it even sadder.
Lots of people have been wanting to know what’s going on, but honestly, there hasn’t been much to share. Here’s the current down-low…
Trevor’s currently working on the editing of the film. I’ve seen a few minutes of rough footage and let me tell you, it’s looking GOOD. James (Livitski) is going to start tackling the score next week, so if all goes to plan, there’ll hopefully be a trailer for everyone to check out within the next few months.
The plan is still to have the film ready for Summer 2012, so stay tuned for future updates!
The weather forecast for tomorrow: shit. Complete and utter shit. Must be by birthday in two days because I ALWAYS spend my birthday shoveling and suffering through the back pain that came from the shoveling. I love living in the North!
Fumito Ueda and Sony better get their shit together regarding The Last Guardian or else The Last of Us is going to become my most anticipated game. Naughty Dog + survival horror + Ellen Page + the graphics of Uncharted with the environment of Enslaved = pretty much my most anticipated game. Can’t wait to see more on this sure-to-be gem.
